Why Structural Safety is Vital for Ceiling Fans
Unlike a standard light fixture, a ceiling fan is a heavy, rotating machine. The constant motion creates centrifugal force that can loosen standard electrical boxes. If a fan is mounted to a box not rated for "fan support," it can eventually fall, causing severe damage or injury. Professional installation is about more than just wiring. We ensure that your ceiling is equipped with a heavy-duty metal fan brace that is anchored directly to the wood joists. This prevents the annoying "clicking" or "wobbling" often found in DIY jobs. A properly installed fan runs silently, distributes air efficiently, and can actually lower your energy bills by reducing the need for air conditioning during Montreal's humid summers.

Our Step-by-Step Process
Box Inspection & Reinforcement
We verify that your ceiling junction box is "Fan-Rated." If not, we install a specialized expansion brace to ensure it can support the weight and vibration of a moving fan.
Assembly & Electrical Wiring
We carefully assemble the motor and blades, complete the electrical connections for both the fan and light kit, and ensure all grounding is safe.
Precision Balancing & Testing
We perform a high-speed test and use professional balancing kits to eliminate any wobbling. We also program your remote controls or smart-home wall switches for immediate use.

What our client say
SRRS Construction did an excellent job repairing several cracks in our living room ceiling. I was worried the repairs would be visible after painting, but the finish is completely smooth. They were punctual, respectful, and left the place clean. Highly recommended for drywall repair in Montreal.
